A booking is confirmed once a deposit of 20% is received. We work with fixed prices from Canada, therefore all our prices are indicated in CAD: Canadian Dollars. As a result, there are no ambiguities about exchange rates. The remaining payment must be paid 15 weeks before the start of the trip.
Fortunately, the helicopter can fly almost every day. Even with snowfall and little visibility, CMH often manages to find places for you to enjoy. If it is impossible to fly because of extreme weather conditions or technical problems of the helicopter, then rest assured that CMH has the very best refund policy in the industry. If the guaranteed vertical meters are not met, we refund CAD 150,- (CAD 170, – at Small Groupand Steeps) for every 1000 vertical meters not skied. At Revelstoke and Kootenay, the refund level for a 5-day trip lies at 15,250 meters and 12,340 meters for a 4-day trip. In the event that you get below 63%of the number of guaranteed vertical meters, CMH will reimburse you with an additional credit between CAD 500,- and CAD 1000,- on your account for your next booking.
We understand that incidental unforeseen situations might compel you to cancel a trip. However, we want to ensure our guests a safe and exceptional heli-ski experience. To do so, we make substantial costs and commit to many obligations long before the start of the journey. That is why it is important for you to be well informed on our cancellation policy. In addition, we advise you to acquire a cancellation insurance that specializes in heli-skiing and covers the cancellation of your trip. Please contact us for additional information on this matter.
